A bridge between activism and the performing arts.

HEAR Classical was a concert series exploring the intersections between social justice, activism, and the performing arts. We produced concerts, fostered educational outreach, and encouraged dialogue among performers, scholars, and audiences with a central aim: to represent voices from all backgrounds, both on stage and in the classroom.

HEAR Classical began in 2018 with the goal of advocating for works that have been traditionally underrepresented in the musical canon, while highlighting present-day organizations and individual projects that help communities through the arts.
